Jane Bates is a highly experienced strategic leader with over 30 years of expertise in sustainability, procurement, and supply chain management. Starting her career at Safeway, Jane has held a variety of roles across Superdrug, EY, Sodexo, Elior, and Parkdean Resorts. She is currently serving as Interim Director of Sustainability at Travelodge, where she is responsible for helping to deliver the Better Future strategy across the business.

She holds a certificate in Business and Climate Change from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, and has completed the ESG Leaders in Hospitality Programme run by Kings College London and the EEA. Jane is passionate about creating sustainable value for business, and empowering teams to embed sustainable practices into the core of their business operations.
