Ramp it up campaign

Faversham House is a founding partner for the Ramp It Up! Campaign. It is a not-for-profit campaign to encourage venues and AV production companies to provide hand rail ramp access for free and as standard at all conferences and awards ceremonies in the UK and Ireland.

We've recognised that increasing amounts of people with limited mobility are attending our events, either with severe movement impairment or with restricted movement, due to conditions such as arthritis. It shouldn't be up to the individuals concerned to notify venues, or up to those who wish to hold events to bear (sometimes significant) additional cost for providing easy and simple access to stages but should always be provided and free of charge at all events. Accessible routes and floor plan

Access to drinks reception: To access the awards drinks reception please start at the ground floor foyer, the drinks reception will take place in the Peninsula foyer

Access to dinner, speeches and ceremony: The awards dinner speeches and ceremony are taking place in the Peninsula ballroom.

Access to toilets and accessible toilets: Toilets, including accessible toilets, are located just off the Peninsula foyer. All at ground floor level.

Access to the stage: Accessible route to the stage, if required, is around the edge of the room and there is a ramp located to the left hand side of the stage.

Please speak to your colleague who booked your ticket to submit any access requirements to the edie team ahead of the awards night.

North Greenwich is the closest public transport station serviced by the Jubilee line and several buses.

The hotel parking is accessible by taking a ticket from the car parking barrier and entering the car park immediately on your left on in the centre oval spaces.

Electric vehicle parking

There are 509 bays located at North Greenwhich station, including 19 disabled bays, 6 motorcycle bays and 4 electric vehicle charging points.

Further parking is available at The O2 Car Parking 2, 3 and 4. If you’re coming to The O2 for Icon Outlet, Cineworld and Up at The O2 or for anything else and are not attending an arena or Indigo at The O2 event you can park in car parks 2, 3 or 4.
