Kayleigh is a recognised circular economy thought leader. Currently, she leads the plastics and circular economy strategy at CDP. Kayleigh pioneered the plastics disclosure framework, designing metrics for corporates to reduce their plastic pollution and waste. In 2024, over 5,600 corporates disclosed to CDP on plastics, representing the largest sample of voluntarily disclosed plastics data globally.
Prior to this, Kayleigh worked with governments across the world to design circular economy policy. This included designing an Extended Producer Responsibility scheme for textiles which informed the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles and leading the stakeholder engagement for the revision of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. She also collaborated with the Singaporean government to design their Deposit Return Scheme (the first of its kind in Southeast Asia).
