Julia is the Marketing and Communications Director at the Carbon Trust - a climate action consultancy with the mission to accelerate the move to a decarbonised future. The Carbon Trust works with businesses, governments and financial institutions to support their Net Zero decarbonisation strategies and delivery and guide their environmental sustainability communications. Julia and her team at the Carbon Trust work directly with their clients to advise on their sustainability communications; they also publish materials such as briefings, guides, webinars aimed to help communications and sustainability professionals in their efforts to communicate sustainability with transparency and impact.
Previous to the Carbon Trust, Julia built her social sustainability and activism knowledge over 5 years at the Fairtrade Foundation in marketing and public engagement roles and her global branding experience over 10 years at Mars, across a wide portfolio of markets and consumers brands such as Sheba, Snickers, M&M’s.
