Jane Burns is Climate Change Engagement Manager for the Government of Jersey, where she helps businesses, communities and young people turn climate ambition into meaningful action. Starting her career as a youth and community practitioner, Jane brings a people-centred approach to sustainability, believing that real change happens when people are engaged, empowered and part of shaping the journey.

Today, she leads the Island’s eco active business network, delivers Carbon Literacy training and works with organisations across sectors to build sustainability confidence and capability. From Youth Climate Summits to Citizens' Assemblies, Jane's work combines engagement, education and behaviour change to make sustainability relevant, practical and everyone's responsibility. With over 20 years' experience and a reputation for bringing energy, honesty and practical experience she focuses on making climate action accessible, relevant and achievable for all.
