Sophie Spencer is B. Braun Medical's Social Value & ESG Specialist, where she leads the organisation's social value strategy and supports the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles across the business. As Social Value Lead within B. Braun UK's ESG Leadership Team, she helps deliver measurable programmes that create positive outcomes for patients, communities, employees and healthcare systems.

Originally from an events management background, Sophie made the transition into sustainability and social value in 2024, embarking on a Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability apprenticeship through Manchester Metropolitan University, which she later completed with distinction. Since then, she has played a key role in shaping B. Braun UK's approach to responsible business, including developing the company's first Social Value Programme and expanding its reach and ambition year on year.

Passionate about community impact and supporting the NHS on its journey to net zero by 2045, Sophie collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to turn ESG commitments into tangible benefits for people, places and the planet.
