Bukky is Group Sustainability Director at Barratt Developments plc and a member of the executive committee, responsible for the strategy across a broad range of sustainability and ESG matters, and for driving the business transformation to deliver this.

A passionate advocate for collaboration, a key focus for Bukky is to ensure Barratt continues to play its part in the future of sustainability in the UK and beyond. She works to incorporate diverse stakeholder perspectives to address the challenges facing the sector, including decarbonisation, sustainable placemaking, circular economy, responsible sourcing, biodiversity and human rights.

Before joining Barratt, Bukky held senior leadership roles at Tesco and WSP working across strategy, sustainability, business transformation, engineering and retail operations. She is a qualified mechanical engineer and holds a master’s degree in environmental design and engineering, both from University College London.
