Josh is the Just Transition lead at the Climate Change Committee, focusing on the delivery of an affordable, accessible, attractive, and fair transition to a Net Zero and climate resilient UK.

His work covers the impacts of climate change and climate policies on household bills, workers, and the economy, as well as the distribution of costs and benefits, and how these affect wider issues such as health and fuel poverty. It also includes engaging with workers, households, and affected communities across the UK to ensure their voices are reflected in CCC advice to Government.

Prior to joining the CCC, Josh worked with businesses, trade bodies, and policymakers to develop and implement plans to reduce emissions and adapt to a changing climate.
