Lamé Verre is an award-winning Energy Executive and Co-founder of Lean In Equity & Sustainability (LiNES), an independent global gender diversity and inclusion social impact organisation.

With a wealth of knowledge and over 25 years of experience in the energy transition and decarbonisation, Lamé Verre has traversed the industry value chain in multiple geographies, including the UK, other parts of Europe, the US, and Sub-Saharan Africa, providing a solid foundation of expertise and reassurance to her audience.

Lamé Verre is currently the Director for Net Zero at The Crown Estate in the UK and recently served on the World Economic Forum—Global Future Council for Energy Transition. She also sits on the US non-profit Equitable Origin (EO) Board and is a Trustee of the UK charity Green Alliance. Her Leadership and influence in these roles are significant and instrumental in fostering transparent, equitable, sustainable energy and natural resource development.

Previously, Lamé served as the Head of Strategy, Innovation, and Sustainability for the FTSE 100 company SSE PLC's customer businesses in the UK and Ireland. In this role, she was instrumental in operationalising net zero in the customer-facing part of the business, thereby promoting customer adoption, sustainable supply chains and strategic partnerships, inspiring and motivating her audience with her commitment to sustainability.
