As Director of Nature-based Solutions, Will oversees a Nature-based Solutions Accelerator and WWF's role in the Trillion Trees joint venture with BirdLife and WCS. The NbS Accelerator is aiming to both accelerate the market through providing tools and solutions for the finance sector and project developers, as well as accelerating specific projects to investment readiness in places like Indonesia and Peru. Trillion Trees is designing mechanisms to scale up forest restoration including blended finance approaches at the landscape scale through our Forest Restoration Catalyst. In previous roles at WWF, Will has acted as the Global Forest Leader and as Chief Adviser on Forests for WWF-UK. Prior to that, Will was a senior policy adviser in the UK Government on international environment and development policy, and an impact adviser at Concern Universal in Malawi.
