Claire Lund is the Vice President for Environmental Sustainability for GSK. She led the design of GSK’s ambition for a net zero, nature positive, healthier planet and is now leading delivery of its climate and nature goals set for 2030 and 2045. Claire currently sits on the Strategic Advisory Group for Business for Nature, a global coalition that brings together business and conservation organisations.

Claire joined GSK in 2013 and became Head of Environmental Sustainability in 2017. In this role Claire accelerated delivery of GSK’s previous environmental targets, including introducing the single-use plastic reduction programme globally across GSK. Under her leadership, GSK was selected to be one of the first companies to work with the Science Based Target Network to set validated science-based targets for nature. GSK has also committed to publish its first disclosure aligned with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures framework.

Before joining GSK Claire worked in the public sector in the Cabinet Office as the lead for energy procurement transformation as well as with various consultancies supporting SMEs and global blue-chip organisations.
