Dr Ashok Sinha is the CEO of Ashden, a climate solutions charity, and Chair of the London Sustainable Development Commission. He has a wealth of experience in environmental, sustainable development issues in the UK and the Global South. Ashok has a PhD in renewable energy from Cambridge University and has published research on the climate feedback process.

Previously CEO of the London Cycling Campaign (2010-2023), Director of the Climate Coalition (2005-2010), and one of a group of UK NGO activists who helped to found and lead the UK Make Poverty History campaign (2003-2005).
