Dr Ariel Edesess has led sustainability and climate strategy at Hill Dickinson LLP since 2022, where her work focuses on decarbonisation, net‑zero transition and embedding sustainability into how organisations make decisions. With a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Ariel brings a science‑led perspective to corporate climate action, with particular expertise in translating complex climate concepts into practical, credible pathways for mitigation.

A core part of her work is building climate literacy across organisations, supporting leaders and teams to better understand emissions, transition planning and the implications of climate change for long‑term strategy. She approaches sustainability through a systems lens, recognising that climate action sits within wider organisational, economic and social contexts, and that progress depends on meeting people where they are.
