Vibhati is the Founder of South Asians for Sustainability, a grassroots platform amplifying climate justice, community organising and representation within the South Asian diaspora. Coming from a British-Indian heritage, she is driven to address the environmental and social injustices created by systemic inequality and geo-political power dynamics, particularly those impacting marginalised communities.
With a background in Psychology from the University of Southampton, Vibhati champions behavioural change, lived experience and the role of eco-anxiety in driving inclusive and accountable climate action. Her work focuses on building community-led momentum and ensuring sustainability movements are culturally relevant, representative and rooted in equity.
Alongside this, Vibhati is Managing Consultant in Social Sustainability at Energise, sits on the advisory board for Catalyse Change CIC, contributes to the Climate Justice Steering Group at the Museums Association, and is a co-founding partner of the RACE Report with SOS UK. She is passionate about mentoring emerging voices in sustainability and creating spaces where authenticity, activism and community leadership are recognised as critical to systems change.
