Chris Hewett joined the Solar Energy UK (formerly Solar Trade Association) in 2017 and became Chief Executive in January 2018. He has 30 years experience in advocacy, policy, thought leadership and campaigning on a wide variety of sustainability, energy and environmental issues. Previously he has been Head of Climate Change for the Environment Agency, an Associate at Green Alliance, and a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Public Policy Research.

Solar Energy UK represents over 350 member companies across the whole vale chain in the solar and energy storage industries in the UK.
