Bio:
Tim Mohin is a globally recognized sustainability and ESG executive with more than 20 years experience leading sustainability efforts at Fortune 500 companies. He serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Persefoni, a fast-growing climate tech startup focused on carbon accounting. Prior to joining Persefoni, Tim was the Chief Executive of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), where he drove GRI’s mission to empower decisions that create social, environmental and economic benefits for everyone. Tim has deep experience developing strategies to embed sustainability into business. Previously, he served as the Senior Director of Corporate Responsibility for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), founded and led Apple’s Supplier Responsibility program, and led Intel’s environmental and sustainability functions. He also has a decade-long career serving in both the U.S. Senate and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where he led the development of the toxics provisions of the Clean Air Act Amendments. Tim is the founder and Chairman of the Board for the Responsible Business Alliance. He is the author of Changing Business from the Inside Out. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York at Cortland and a master’s degree in environmental management from Duke University.
