Rollo Maschietto is a policy and public affairs professional with several years of experience in stakeholder engagement and political advocacy. Currently Public Affairs & Policy Manager at the Renewable Energy Association (REA), he leads the organisation's external affairs programme and spearheads the REA's Energy Demand policy pillar.
At the REA, Rollo has secured inclusion of several organisational priorities in major parties' 2024 election manifestos and regularly engages with senior political figures and government departments to advance renewable energy policy. He has served as secretariat for two All-Party Parliamentary Groups.
Previously, as Policy Advisor at the Mayor of London's office, Rollo reversed London's decade-long decline in grassroots music venue closures through his convening of Mayoral Advisory Boards and delivered advocacy campaigns that achieved national policy changes. His earlier experience includes securing legislative amendments and significant government funding at the Local Government Association and international project management roles.
Rollo holds an MSc in public policy from the London School of Economics as an Anniversary Scholar. He volunteers with charities working across environment protection, access to education and safeguarding human rights.
