This is what Carbonplace had to say about edie 25

What objectives did you have for edie 25?

At Carbon Place, our main goal for edie 25 was to engage with corporates in the sustainability space. As a London-based carbon credit management platform, we wanted to raise our brand visibility, connect with key decision-makers, and establish strong relationships in the industry. This was our first time exhibiting at any event, so it was important for us to start strong at an event like edie 25.

How did edie 25 meet those objectives?

edie 25 exceeded our expectations. We have had some great networking opportunities, brilliant conversations and shared our brand with the right audience. We have been so happy with the result, edie was definitely the best choice for us.

What does edie do differently to other events you attend?

This was our first event as an exhibitor, and it’s set a high standard. The venue was exceptional, the programme was relevant and well-structured, and the audience was exactly who we were hoping to meet. We also really appreciated the event app, which made it easy to see who was attending and helped us plan and target our conversations. Even the food and hospitality stood out - it’s an all-around outstanding event.

Who did you meet at edie 25?

The networking has been great, everyone we want to talk to is here, and wants to talk. Particularly, the networking drinks reception gave us a great, relaxed opportunity for conversations. Everyone we spoke to was genuinely engaged and relevant to us.

How did edie 25 improve your brand awareness?

Having a stand at edie 25 gave us strong visibility to all attendees and helped position us as a serious player in the carbon management space. The event gave us a platform to introduce ourselves to the right people in the right context.

How did edie 25 help you capture leads?

We had consistent engagement at our stand, which made it easy to collect leads. The app was helpful and easy to use. People came to us already open to a conversation, which meant we got highly interested contacts, rather than just passing traffic, and some great conversations to carry forward.

How did edie 25 help you demonstrate thought leadership?

This year, we focused on our stand and networking, but we’re already looking at expanding our involvement for next year through speaking opportunities. Seeing the success of the sessions, we see a lot of potential in expanding our involvement for next year. edie clearly values thought leadership, and we’re excited to take part in those conversations.
